About The Crow: Stairway to Heaven:

The Crow: Stairway To Heaven - The Complete Series is available for the first time in the UK in this 5 disc DVD boxset. The Crow originally aired extensively on The Sci-Fi Channel in the UK and the US.
Mark Dacascos reprises the role originally played by Brandon Lee in the 1994 film The Crow. Lee famously died on set when he was accidently shot. And this series was no stranger to tragedy. Stuntman Marc Akerstream was killed when a special effects explosion went wrong and he was struck on the head by flying debris. Despite all this, they have still managed to pull together an on-set Gag Reel for this box set.
And it gets darker…James O’Barr created The Crow as a graphic novel hoping it would be cathartic after the death of his fiancèe by a drunk driver but he has admitted that it made him “more self-destructive, if anything. There is pure anger on each page”.
Synopsis: Exactly one year after being brutally murdered, rock musician Eric Draven returns to Earth, searching for a way to right what has been wronged and to reunite with his missing soul-mate Shelly Webster. Guided by a mystical Spirit Crow, he is neither living nor dead, possessing strange new powers to aid him in his search for revenge, which ultimately, must become a quest for redemption.
